Thank you for your interest in Temple Beth El- the Conservative synagogue in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We are a warm, family-oriented congregation. We offer something for congregants of every age- from services to religious school, from entertaining social events to community involvement.
At Temple Beth El you have many opportunities to participate in the life of our congregation. Meet new friends, worship on Shabbat and holidays, attend a family Shabbat dinner, take adult education classes, participate in Synagogue governance, or even suggest a new program.
Temple Beth El membership offers much more than just religious school or bar/bat mitzvah preparation! What about celebrating Simchat Torah, or eating in the sukkah on Sukkot, playing with other children at programs and school, or borrowing Jewish books from the Library.
Our congregation offers varied programs for adults, both singles and couples. Explore how our Temple Beth El family can offer you a path to a richer spiritual and social religious life.
We welcome all. Instead of a fixed dues schedule, we operate under a Voluntary Financial Commitment model. No one is denied membership due to financial circumstances.
