TBE Women’s Seder 2026

On Sunday, March 22nd, a Women’s Seder was held at our synagogue, with the participation of women from four neighboring synagogues. It was a wonderful event, and Sisterhood was proud to sponsor this excellent program, brought to us by Cantor Chesler.

She participated in a similar women’s Seder last year held in York, and she hoped that our Sisterhood would coordinate the food aspects, and “day of” set up/serving and welcoming of attendees. Sisterhood was delighted to sponsor this excellent community outreach program.

The participating temples, and their spiritual leaders were Rabbi Melody Davis of Temple Beth Israel & Congregation Ohev Sholom, York, and Cantor Marilyn Selby Okoshi of Congregation Beth Israel, Lebanon. Annelise Davis, the daughter of Rabbi Melody Davis, assisted with the tech/audio; and helped cantors Chesler and Okoshi and Rabbi Davis in leading the interactive seder.
