TEMPLE BETH EL LANCASTER

Our Temple building is a new contemporary, one-story brick and stone structure located at 1836 Rohrerstown Road in East Hempfield Township. But it is much more than just a new building. It is a unique place for the congregation to worship, learn and gather together. Our sanctuary offers seating for over 260 people and can be expanded for special occasions. The chapel seats 40 people. The 17,000 square foot building houses a Religious School with nine classrooms and a library, a Judaica gallery, an honor hall, a commercial kosher kitchen, meeting rooms, and an outdoor patio area for entertaining. The social hall seats up to 220 people and includes a moveable dance floor. On-site parking for 150 cars adds to the convenience of our facility.
Our precious stained glass windows are the result of our Fund for the Future Campaign held in 2015 to provide for future capital and operational needs of the Temple. The light that shines through them brings life and hope into our sanctuary and is one more reason to visit our Temple.
